Marwan Omar

Worked as an Assistant Professor for the department of computer science and IT at Nawroz University. Engaged in curricula development, supervised, mentored, and advised students on undergraduate research and capstone projects. Taught on-campus classes as well as online classes (using Moodle online platform) for one year and six months in a variety of areas within the computer science discipline such as database development, computer networks, information systems security, risk management, cyber security and digital crime, computer security, server administration, client-server networking, and introductory computer science classes. Conducted research independently and collaboratively with faculty members in the area of cyber security. Now working as an adjunct faculty for ITT-Technical Institute in Houston, Texas where he passionately teaches database and information security classes because Marwan thinks that teaching is what he does best!
