C. William Mercer

Rev. Dr. C. William Mercer is an ordained New Thought (Divine Science) minister, a retired New York and Colorado attorney and mediator, and a New Thought historian and author.

Will co-ministers a Divine Science Church Without Walls in New York City's Harlem neighborhood with his wife, Rev. Sédare Coradin-Mercer.

Will served as President of the Divine Science Ministers Association from 2009 to 2013. From 2012 to 2014 he served as President of Divine Science Federation International.

Will’s passion for history led him to write three recent books: Present At The Beginning (2014), The Christology Connection (2015), and Courage, Conviction and Consciousness (2016), all of which focus on the history of New Thought in America. In his third book, will explores the contributions of more than 105 Women to the development and advancement of New Thought over the past 150 years.

In recent years Will has spoken at New Thought (Divine Science, Religious Science, Unity and Independent New Thought) gatherings across the country as well as at INTA Congresses from 2009 through 2013.
