Michael Tavon

Michael Tavon is a novelist, poet, and recording artist. He is devoted to helping his generation cope with sadness and find inner peace through his writing. His poetry mainly focuses on the stages of young adult life from depression, finding love, nature, and social issues. Tavon sets himself apart from most modern poets with his thought-provoking prose and subject matter about the human race. His style of writing is reminiscent of Langston Hughes and Nikki Giovanni while maintaining a modern appeal. His vision is to help his peers see that there is always room for growth as you have hope. He follows this agenda through his writing by always showing growth as a writer and a person through his publications.

Tavon was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. After falling in love with fellow writer Moonsoulchid, in 2018, They both currently reside in Connecticut. Tavon's most notable works are Don’t Wait Til I Die To Love Me and Songs for Each Mood.
