William Wilson

William Wilson is a Third Order Carmelite, Catholic publisher, and musician whose work is rooted in the contemplative tradition of the Church. As the founder of Orate Publications, he is dedicated to recovering and presenting the Church’s spiritual heritage—especially classic and neglected writings on prayer—in forms that are both beautiful and accessible for contemporary readers and listeners. His work reflects a deep commitment to mental prayer, Lectio Divina, and the interior life, shaped by Carmelite spirituality and a lifelong devotion to beauty and discipline.

Alongside his work in publishing, William also works as a professional guitarist. He has released several solo recordings, including La Catedral, featuring classical guitar works by Spanish and Latin American composers, and Tango for One, exploring the music of Astor Piazzolla and Alberto Ginastera.
