Mark Rose

Hi readers, thank you for visiting my author site! I've spent most of my life in two unlikely places, strapped in a seat of an airplane or helicopter or in the depths of the earth serving the mining industry around the world. Both experiences began in Alaska, so I write passionately about that place to the best of my ability with one goal in mind; sharing my experiences with you!

My first title,The Noah Code, is a summary of over 35 years of study, experience and field work around the world. I feel the geology of earth is best described as being once formed by water and later annihilated by that same substance. If your a professional Geologist that's honest with the facts, I'm saying what you must sometimes think. Speaking from an informed viewpoint based on careful study, I can confidently say modern origins "science" has little to refute these claims. No professional geologist wants to be accused of being non-scientific or dogmatic, Geologists love truth. As such they carry a responsibility to convey truth to society. Noah Code is also based in truth, a truth I feel needs to be told.

In all the 25 years I spent working directly in underground mining, I saw a lot of deposits both in the US and around the world: cataclysmic deposits, unexplainable by uniformity yet screaming catastrophe. In this work I was several times nearly killed, a face load of dynamite detonated next to me in Alaska, chased down a drift by huge loaders in South Dakota and Sweden, trapped underground in Colorado and dealing with unrest in Africa.

Flying I saw Alaska from a perspective that challenged my senses. The place a giant contradiction: the remains of a fauna and flora from a warm climate of the past, now frozen solid in mass graveyards; the buried millions of maga-fauna in water deposited muck that tells a story to us. We played with life and death daily in those arctic mountains, and saw the sad consequences of a single error flying in that country...a country that we could never leave, at least in spirit. What is Alaska's true geologic history? I touch on this in The Noah Code.

My next volume set will be about those flying years, volume 1 of the series "Last of the Long Hunters." (Cover pictured) I hope you will ride next to me in that work, this to experience the massive herds of caribou like the buffalo of the old plains, the vistas, thrills, hard flying and comradeship of the aircrews as we did our part building Alaska. This work is a tribute to so many friends lost and also to that Great Land. I want to say thank you so much for your support, and promise I will give you my best in all my works, and I do sincerely appreciate your patronage hoping to meet you sometime - all the best, Mark Rose
