I suppose it all began with Kemlo. I was about nine when I discovered the adventures of E C Eliott's space cadet and I've been fascinated by science fiction ever since. Maybe the fact that H G Wells was a former pupil of the school I attended and John Wyndham lived nearby had an influence too. Anyway, I was soon reading everything I could get my hands on, from Aldiss to Zelazny - although I admit that I was stalled on 'B' for Bradbury for some time. It was fifity years before I thought to write anything of my own. Now I can't stop.

I trained in graphics and spent a lifetime with the provincial press. These days I live in a tiny cottage in West Sussex, England, which I share with my wife and most of the local wildlife.
