Sue Grainger

Sue Grainger is a wife, the mother of two adults (at least, that's what the law calls them - but they're fighting it), and has lived in East Yorkshire, England, for her entire life. It's an area she's proud to call 'home'.

Naturally creative, she's an author, an artist, and enjoys baking and decorating cakes for her family and friends. She's also a keen observer of the world around her, and has a passion for music that ranges from classical, to country, to rock.

Sue has been writing since her early teens (mostly stories for the children she babysat for and, later, her own children). Then, five years ago, she joined an online authors' site. She found people there who not only helped her to hone her skills, but enjoyed her work. After a while, she was coming runner-up/winning the monthly challenge competitions run by the same site, and her confidence started to grow...

Now, using her own name and the pseudonym Alina Voyce, the stories she writes are a mesh of ideas generated by who she is and who she imagines herself being as part of the plot. The world is a fascinating place, and the people she meets a constant source of inspiration. There are so many talented people out there, so many lifestyles, and so many points of view... the story ideas just keep on coming.
