Lisa Combs

Lisa Combs is a teacher, behavior specialist, educational consultant, Certified Autism Specialist, and president of Combs Educational Consulting, Ltd. Prior to becoming a children's author, Lisa was a special education teacher, a school administrator, university instructor and educational consultant. She is a recognized author and consultant on autism, social emotional learning, differentiated instruction, co-teaching, inclusive practices and behavior support. She has combined her educational expertise, decades of experience working with young children, and her creative talents to create children's books with a social-emotional learning focus. The captivating and emotionally evocative illustrations for these books are provided by graphic designer and illustrator, Pam Fraizer, owner/operater of Fraizer Designs, LLC. Together, these BEST FRIENDS are co-owners of Best Friend Books, LLC.
