Adam Adrian Brostow

Adam Adrian Brostow is an engineer, inventor, writer, exhibited painter, and traveler. He has over 20 years of experience as a chemical process engineer. He holds twelve US patents (mostly as a coinventor). He has visited almost sixty countries in search for inspiration and knowledge. For ten years he has been an industrial consultant at the University of Pennsylvania and for eight years a member of Engineers Without Borders, involved in clean water and sanitation projects in Africa and Latin America. His interests include art, science, nature, geography, history, linguistics, creativity and problem solving, invention and innovation, wilderness survival, energy efficiency, and technologies for developing nations. He thinks the cleanest energy is energy not used. Lack or shortage of pure drinking water is one of the major problems facing humanity today.
