J. Thomas Beasley

Jesse Thomas Beasley was born in Savannah, Georgia. He graduated from Armstrong State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science before moving to New Orleans to attend law school. He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law and began practicing law in 2004. Jesse continues to reside in New Orleans with his wife and three children and maintains a small solo practice focusing on litigation and public interest advocacy, primarily for economically challenged clients. In addition, he has spent much of the last two decades performing extensive research and writing for other members of the legal profession, including attorneys and judges, and has published numerous articles, mostly focused on politics and criminal justice reform, in various online venues.
