Jenny Yates

Jenny Yates (born 1951) has lived all over the world. As a child, daughter of a linguist, she lived in Thailand, Vietnam, and Germany. When she grew up, she fell in love with a Venezuelan woman, and moved with her to Venezuela, Ecuador and Germany again. She and her wife are currently living in the DC area - which is actually where they met, twenty-nine years ago.

When she isn't writing fiction, poetry, and the occasional play, she works as an astrologer. She does readings for people, and she also maintains a website with current data, at http://www.astrologerjenny.com/, and writes a monthly column at http://astrologerjenny.blogspot.com/. She also has an astrology book out - Your Horoscope: A Guide to Interpretation (1994) - but it's only available in paper at this point. Look for it to be a kindle book someday soon!

And when she isn't writing or working, she's reading or playing Scrabble, both somewhat obsessively.
