Virginia Goode Kite

Virginia Kite was educated at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and taught in Virginia Public Schools for twelve years prior to her marriage. She and her husband, Ron, attended Rhema Bible College together and have served with several national and international ministries. They have raised two nieces and are the parents of one son.

When their son was four years old, they looked for a children's devotional book which centered on making the Word of God personal and applicable to a child's daily life. Finding no such book, Virginia gathered a stack of underlined and highlighted Bibles and, using the scriptures which had spoken to her life over the years, penned "365 Kids' Confessions".

Several years later, Virginia felt a need for a book that would encourage young people to pursue a course of godly integrity, which would not only represent well the Christ they served but would enhance their sense of self worth and confidence. "Soaring in Self Respect" has provided insight, direction and encouragement to readers of all ages.
