Sten Rethage

The biggest mistake you could make would be to stop reading now. Another miscue, though less egregious, would be to purchase my book, Intention's Folly, and read it completely at face value. But allow me to digress. My name is Sten Rethage. Or at least now it is. I am quite sure that the words you will read in my book come with virtually no literary influence, as I myself do not typically read books. That said, where one may focus on the negative points of such a claim, others might see it as a benefit. Let's hope you represent the latter. Personally, aside from the challenge this presents me in describing the genre, I consider it a fine attribute.

From my recent and limited research through bastions of intellectual wealth such as Wikipedia, I have made an attempt to classify Intention's Folly. The best I can do is: "Unacclaimed Literary Fiction on Speed". This, only because the work seems to fit all of the neatly-packaged little characteristics of "literary fiction" except two... My work is neither critically acclaimed nor slow-paced. I also realize that "unacclaimed" is not a word, but as the literary novelist I now purport to be, I reject that truth.

At any rate, I leave you, my prospective reader, with this... Intention's Folly is written for the enjoyment of humankind. I have no editor. No publicist. No art director. I have no delusions of grandeur. In fact, at the end of the day, I have only you... The Reader. But that is precisely my plan.
