Ify Okonta’s debut novel, Lilac dreams was inspired by different memorable boarding school stories told by friends and relatives, as well as her own experiences. Scarlet Path, her second novel, speaks about God’s amazing love for his children and how he brings to pass His will for their lives. Committed to Beauty, her third novel, was inspired by a desire to encourage any woman struggling with her appearance or identity.

Ify sees her writing as a tool to spread God’s love and grace.
