Julie Sutton, 23, is a health researcher and artist, born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She has a double major in Communications and Psychology from Carleton University. Several years of playing water polo as a young teen, in combination with her passion for writing, motivated her to team up with co-author Daniel Tigner (who just happens to be her uncle). Together they had a lot of fun putting a story down on paper.
"I am very pleased to present my first book! I always have a painting or piece of writing in the works and I am very interested in the ways people can tell stories through different media and art. I can't describe how exciting it was to hold the first print in my own hands and show my family and friends. I truly hope that young readers will not only have fun reading the book, but be inspired to go out and take action; to find a sport in which they can thrive. Who knows, maybe they might find themselves in a pool launching a water polo ball one day…"
