Richard N. Ryan

Richard N. Ryan has hiked, camped and rafted extensively in the canyon lands, mountains, and deserts of Utah, Colorado, and Arizona. A retired teacher, he taught for 20 years on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona and New Mexico, and has worked as a journalist and copywriter in Phoenix. A native of Massachusetts, he’s lived in the Southwest for most of his life, and now resides in Aztec, New Mexico, home to 6,378 friendly people and six old soreheads (of which number he is not one), with his wife and two dogs. This is his first novel.
