Sally Chambers

Florida’s East Coast is home. My husband and I enjoy the sunshine and beauty of where we live, and we often watch NASA and SpaceX launches from our backyard. Activities with family and friends are a priority. Walking nature trails and feeling the damp beach sand underfoot are favorite things. Not so favorite is the challenge of preparing for and living through the wind and rain of the hurricanes we experience almost every year.

I love to write contemporary inspirational suspense with a thread of romance--books for women, and young adults. Exchanging work with writer friends and helping edit their works-in-progress keeps me on my toes in my own writing.

Some life highlights--volunteering in schools, mentoring, reading to and working with children, my church, and having served on the board of the local Salvation Army. High on my reading list: suspense, mystery, adventure, intrigue, historical, and creative nonfiction.
