Kieran Donaghy

I am a teacher, teacher trainer, international conference presenter and writer based in Barcelona Spain. I am the author of a number of books on language teaching and film including Film in Action (Delta Publishing) and How to Write Activities for Film and Video (ELT Teacher 2 Writer). I also write a wide range of English Language Teaching material.

My website on the use of film in language teaching, Film English (film-english.com), has won several awards including a British Council ELTons Innovation Award and the most prestigious media in education prize, the MEDEA Award, in 2013, and an English-Speaking Union Award in 2014.

I run teacher training workshops, and give talks on a regular basis throughout the world.
