Beth Underwood

BETH UNDERWOOD is one of the pen names used by Beth Cotter. She is award-winning author, alphabet juggler, and executive bourbon steward and whose work has appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines, and books. She is a devoted Catholic wife, mother and grandmother.

Writing as Beth Underwood, she is the author of TALK BOURBON TO ME:A whiskey lover's guide to Kentucky's favorite spirit; TALK BOURBON TO ME 2: The Spirit of Hospitality (November 2018); the award-winning narrative nonfiction book GRAVITY (2015), a story of war; and A BAD CASE OF CARBONATION (2019), is a delightful selection of essays that remind us the little things in life are truly the things that matter.

Her first fiction series is Copper Saddle Distillery Mysteries, a murder-free cozy mystery series. Set in the fictional town of Hogshead, Ky, the series features zany, lovable characters, small town settings, plenty of southern charm, and happy endings.
