Eric Cagle

Eric Cagle, a native of Alabama, discovered his passion for writing through the guidance of his father and a college course. His writing is known for its warmth, authenticity, and a strong sense of place that draws readers into each story he tells.

Holding both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Elementary Education, Eric is dedicated to nurturing young minds and instilling a lifelong love of learning. As a teacher, he goes above and beyond to inspire his students and create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and capable.

Eric is also a devoted Christian, and his faith is a central part of who he is. He strives to live out Christ’s teachings in every area of his life, especially in his relationships with others. His faith guides him to approach life with kindness, compassion, and a heart for service, whether in the classroom, in his marriage, or as a father.

Married to his high school sweetheart, Eric and his wife have built a life centered around love and family. They welcomed a young boy into their home through foster care, who became their son. Together, they are dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment where their family can grow and thrive.

Outside of his professional and family life, Eric enjoys a range of hobbies. Whether it's conquering the disc golf course, playing music and singing, reading, or building, Eric pursues each passion with dedication, joy, and creativity.
