Yankee humorist Fred Marple has appeared on New Hampshire Chronicle and in the pages of New Hampshire Magazine and Yankee Magazine, as well as on radio, at town halls, church basements, and the homes of most of his friends, usually right around dinner time.
Also known as author and songwriter Ken Sheldon, his humor column “Only in New England” has appeared in Yankee Magazine. Fred’s first book, “Welcome to Frost Heaves” is a collection of stories from his home town, the most under-appreciated town in New Hampshire. His "Yoga for Yankees" spoof has been viewed over 5 million times online, "Which just goes to show folks have way too much time on their hands," according to Fred.
Fred is a graduate of the Frost Heaves Academy and the East Coast School of Knife Sharpening and Carburetor Repair.
