Andrew Middleton

Andrew is a National Teaching Fellow known for academic innovation and leadership in the effective use of digital and social media to enhance student-centred active learning. He publishes on spaces for learning and continues to develop a studio-based approach to teaching. Based at Anglia Ruskin University, he leads institutional work on active and authentic learning, employability in the curriculum, learning spaces, and media-enhanced teaching and learning. He leads the UK Media-Enhanced Learning Special Interest Group and is a co-ordinator of the UK Active Learning Network. He presents the Exquisite Corpse podcast which focuses on academic innovation in teaching and learning in higher education.
