Rameshwar Singh Jamwal

Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, a practicing Advocate in J&K(India) High Court and a former Sr. Panel Counsel, Government of India, and also a Deputy Advocate General of J&K State has been working in crime reduction programs for the last more than thirty-two years and is also a Yoga Practitioner for more than two and half decades. His curiosity to find reasons for his actions, the functioning of the human mind, and the reasons of human aberrations like greed, lust, anger, ego led to the propounding of a new Crime Theory by him, which he termed as 'Yogic Crime Theory" which is altogether different from the crime theories propounded so far and can lead to substantial positive change in criminal behaviors. He wrote the first book to show how criminal behaviors can be modified through Yogic techniques. He is an avowed Yoga practitioner for more than twenty-eight years and on the basis of his studies of Indian philosophy, he has now come up with a new revelation, the Fifth and the Sixth Forces in cosmos. He has copyrights issued by the Government of India for his crime theory and is also the author of the book, ‘Controlling the Mind of a Criminal, the Yogic Way”. After revelations by a top bureaucrat that the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory of India was a “broken state” and there was “no system” in place due to years of misgovernance, corruption, and “unbelievable levels of fraud” committed by leaders of mainstream parties and separatist organizations, he started working to find out the reasons of misgovernanance, which has brought untold and uncountable problems to the people of region. This he has revealed in his third book, "Misgoverned Kashmir, The Indian Bane" in which he has also offered solutions for the problem.He has written more than hundred articles in a period spanning over three decdaes, some of which find place in this book. He has also presented papers in many international and national level seminars, including those organized by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. He is also associated with many NGO’s and social organizations. He heads a NGO, Criminologists Society of J&K.

His second book, 'The Sixth Force in Cosmos' reveals all about these two new forces called 'Apara' and 'Para' and has linakges with the other two books, which tell us the reasons of our actions, good or bad.
