L. Dee Walker (1964 - ongoing). I was born in Detroit, Michigan.

I started writing when I was fourteen years old. Basically, the life I wanted to have, versus the one I was stuck in. Many people turn to drugs and alcohol to get over the child abuse of their past, I turned to writing. I like to play the "what if" game and then write it out. I try to come up with original stuff, but there are more and more writers out there these days. I blame roleplay for that.

I love to create people that you love to hate and hate to love. People that I model from my reality. It's also a great therapy to create a character and have them do things that you could never get away with in reality. In the end, it's a bittersweet happiness to kill him or her off. If someone makes me angry, I like to put them in my books. Therapy.
