Hi! My name is Emi, and I’m a veterinary nurse from the UK with a lifelong love of animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different pets, including hamsters, rabbits, fish, and kittens.

When researching how to properly care for my own pets, I often found pet care advice confusing, incomplete, or unrealistic for everyday owners. That inspired me to create books that are clear, practical, and easy to understand for young readers and families.

I have worked in both private veterinary practices and animal welfare charities, caring for a wide variety of animals and seeing first-hand how good advice can make a huge difference to a pet’s health and happiness.

My goal is to help children become kind, confident, and responsible pet owners by sharing trusted advice based on real veterinary nursing experience and everyday animal care.
