J.C. Buchanan

Hi I'm J.C. Buchanan, and I’m a 18-year-old homeschool student from Illinois. I’ve been writing as long as I can remember and reading for even longer.

My first book, The Hidden Amethyst, released in early 2013, and my second book, You’ll Be Like Faye, came out in 2015. I also had a short novella sequel come out in 2017, and Proof of Purple is my third full-length novel.

When I’m not writing, thinking about writing, planning for writing, or reading, I’m likely hanging out with my amazing friends, eating chocolate, making movies, babysitting awesome children, or hanging out or volunteering at church.

I believe in the power of fiction to change the world and my sole desire is to show people God’s amazing love through my writing!
