Foust

Foust is a writer, printmaker, cartoonist, and curmudgeon. She lives in Richmond VA with three rescue dogs and one husband who was imported from England. After nearly 30 years as a working visual artist, she decided she wanted to spend more time with words, so she went back to school and got an MFA in creative writing from Spalding University. She prefers to work in short formats, mostly stories that are under 1,000 words. Lydia Davis, Amy Hempel, Lorrie Moore, and Raymond Carver make her want to be a better writer.
