D Riessen

D. D. Riessen attended San Diego City College where he graduated with a degree in Electronics. After enrolling in San Diego State University however, he discovered that his love was creative writing and has been developing those skills ever since. He has written four novels, several children's books and many short, short stories that examine the human condition.

His love of writing has taken him from a young adult, first person perspective of life in a small country town in 1954, You Gotta Have Wings, to the adult fiction novel, On Standby. Wanting to explore new writing styles and to feed his ever increasing desire to tell tall tales, Dave wrote Sometime Tomorrow, a sci-fi adventure that takes place in Los Angeles in 2132. Happy with his new direction, The Other World, a fantasy, science fiction adventure, has just been published. The sequel is currently being written.
