Ara Francis

Ara Francis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at College of the Holy Cross, a small liberal arts college in central Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of California-Davis with a PhD in sociology in 2008. Interested in how people experience and make sense of personal loss and suffering, she teaches courses in self and society, deviance, trouble, and death and dying.
