Joyce absolutely Loves her family of four wonderful kids, Jasmine Sharde’, Shawn Anthony, Jakoby Mark, and Brianna Joyce Chauntili Badie. Joyce truly loves her lovingly supportive husband, Shawn David Badie, of 24 wonderful years and happily counting. Joyce also enjoys every moment of time spent with Grand-Daughters Synfoni and Journi supported and loved by her father, Monde.

After many years of scarring from abuse and neglect, the “Tears of Joy,” seem to blanket Joyce’s face and her heart as she has persevered so much. As a survivor of brutality in many ways, Joyce has learned that life throws you many hard balls, but you must always be ready and strapped with your “Whole Armor” to come out on the top. Joyce feels that she has finally reached a higher level in her life. And still climbing through and to many victories. She explains how grateful she is for her second chances after a head-on collision suffering x4 fractures in her left foot. She feels fortunate and is looking forward to dancing in her new gospel video, “Dance.” Joyce is truly Grateful for every success and will continue to move forward in faith on her journey to help, to encourage, and to inspire others as opportunities continue to present itself.

Inspiration

Joyce feels complete when she’s supported by her loved ones. But is truly always happy when she feels she has helped someone else.

She has been caring for others all her life motivating and uplifting all who cross her path. She inspires others to always look to the positive and to be grateful. As she continues to use her many talents to continue to inspire, uplift, and motivate others, she feels strongly that each day that you awaken you’re given a second chance at everything in life.

Joyce Badie was inspired to write “Wilbur and Simmy” to raise awareness about Loving past One’s appearance, not judging others and to stop bullying Others based on how they look. Mrs. Badie wants to be able to recognize when someone is seeking help or just a listening ear. Joyce wants to encourage and to empower young readers to recognize the power of knowledge and wisdom. The power of encouragement to and from one another. And the power of acceptance from one another.

Joyce encourages parents to talk to kids about love, hurt, disappointment, neglect, depression, bullying, discrimination, molestation, abuse, (physical and mental), suicide, human trafficking, snatching, drugs, rape, kidnapping, lying, stealing, and everything in between. Please, even if you’ve never experienced any of these, allow someone who has experiences to share and encourage children. Or watch a movie to Warn them and make them aware of the danger surrounding them daily. Exposure is the best weapon of war against madness in this world. Most victims lacked warning, but Knowledge is our Power.
