R. Stoneman

Biography

R Stoneman is my pen name. I'm seventy two going on twenty seven. I was born in Cornwall, in Britain and spent my early years walking Bodmin Moor, feeling the real magic of the stones and exploring the rugged landscape, streams and the remains of Bronze age villages and forts. Under the room where I was born, just after we moved in we discovered a large pentacle, my father had to hide it under a carpet, if my grandmother had known about it she would have been out like a shot. My fathers father was a gypsy called Stoneman, and my father had his gypsy gene, so we moved, sometimes around Britain, and sometimes, overseas. I have always loved Cornwall and based my stories there.
