The author of God Does Not Stop Bullets, Vampires or AI is a multifaceted professional with a remarkably eclectic background to his writing, blending deep technical expertise, corporate leadership, and a lifetime of biblical study and a distinguished career spanning military service, engineering, management, programming, and authorship. A U.S. Navy Technician who served in Vietnam, he began his programming journey immediately after his military service and has maintained a continuous involvement in the field for over 50 years. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University with a minor in Computer Science, along with a Series 7 broker license and a medical insurance license. He also studied neurolinguistics in the context of management, accumulating 37 years of management experience and authoring three books on the subject—including his first on values and personal profiling for managers. An accomplished writer in multiple genres, he has published ten books on tennis and one children’s fantasy adventure featuring an enchanted tennis racquet. Raised Catholic, he has deeply studied the Bible with a strong emphasis on the historical and cultural environments of both the Old and New Testaments, which informs his thoughtful exploration of faith, technology, and modern challenges.

I was born in Phoenix Arizona in 1946 at St. Joseph's hospital in what was the outskirts of Phoenix and is now downtown. I spent four years in the U.S. Navy off the coast of Vietnam on the USS Constellation and graduated from Arizona State University in 1977 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. I spent 2 years as an engineer and the next 30+ years in management. I have own dogs my entire life and been own by several cats. I have had three horses, a motorcycle, several sports cars, one wife and the activity I enjoy most in life is playing tennis, which I have been playing and teaching for more than 50 years. My biggest loves in life (next to my wife, kids and tennis) are my dogs.

I have been part of several started-up companies, worked at an executive level for large corporations, designed and built multiple products from an automotive center line detection system to a customs magnetic bookmark that shows the exact point where you left off reading (paper books not e-books) to an emoji based list phone App (KeyPenTrak); and I have been both wealthy and broke several times and enjoyed almost every minute of it. And I constantly remind myself, that in the end I must fit through the eye-of-the-needle!!!
