Phillipa Mitchell graduated from the University of South Africa in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science. With a lifelong love of storytelling and the printed word, she spent seven years in bookselling and publishing before launching a specialist library-supply and academic bookshop in 1998. In 1999, she launched one of South Africa's first online bookstores.
Today, she is an accomplished writer, ghostwriter, editor, and publishing consultant. The genres she is most passionate about bringing to life – and breathing new life into – include biographies, autobiographies, business and inspirational books. She has contributed to several notable works, such as Angelo Agrizzi’s "Inside the Belly of the Beast: The Real Bosasa Story" and Paul O’Sullivan’s "Stop Me if You Can: How the Capture of the Criminal Justice System in South Africa was Disrupted and Reversed".
Beyond her professional work, Phillipa is the proud mother of two creatively talented and entrepreneurial sons. She is deeply connected to Africa, and is passionate about its people, its culture, and its magic.
