I began writing in the early 70's and produced my own 'arts' magazine entitled 'Purple Smoke'.

When that folded I created a rock magazine entitled 'Penetration' featuring many bands of the day, Motorhead, Hawkwind, AC/DC, Sex Pistols to name just a few.

I was the only person taking photos of the legendary Sex Pistols gig at the Manchester Lesser Free Trade Hall which have since sold worldwide featuring in Books, magazines, TV and Movie documentaries.

During the 80's and early 90's I wrote comedy sketches for TV shows both in the UK and Germany ( anybody remember Russ Abbot?). All that and more has been documented in my book 'May Contain Flashing Images-Manchester, Music and Me!' The book contains.

My book 'Hitting My Head Against the Wall! Lemmy & Motorhead' was originally uploaded by me onto Amazon where it was read by Cleopatra Records in LA who asked me if they could publish it as a hardback book for Worldwide distribution, I couldn't say no, could I?

Next up a book of cartoons which will be available shortly.

I'm now married and living in perfect harmony with my wife and cat (not necessarily in that order) in Cheshire, England.
