Trisha Hughes is an Australian author who began writing twenty years ago, with her autobiography 'Daughters of Nazareth'. After one chance phone call, her life would never be the same. That phone call, from a sister she never knew she had, changed her life completely and helped her to understand, and put into perspective, the terrible things that had happened in her childhood. She is very proud to admit that her book topped Steven King to the top spot on the best seller list at the time.
Since then, she has found a passion for writing with a historical trilogy she calls her 'V2V' series based on the history of the British Monarchy. 'Vikings to Virgin' is the first in the series and showcases the first Vikings to land in England and concludes with Elizabeth I rising to the throne at 25 years of age. 'Virgin to Victoria' travels through time from Elizabeth I to a strong-willed young girl by the name of Victoria who steps up to the throne of England at eighteen years of age. The final in the series 'Victoria to Vikings' presents history between two great queens, Queen Victoria to Queen Elizabeth II. This book shows the links that run backwards through time to the very first Vikings who rampaged through early England.
Her love of history is evident with her latest release, 'The Tartan Kings', the powerful and rich story of Scotland. This book guides us through the perilous early days of fighting between the Picts and the Dal Riata and takes us through the dynasties until the present day.
She released her first mystery/crime novel, the first in a Jack Reacher Mystery Series, called 'Dragonfly', based in Australia, featuring an ill-fated ex-detective Jack Curtis, thrown back into solving a crime when his best friend calls for help. She recently released the second in the series, Chameleon, featuring Jack Curtis once again and in the coming month, the third in the series, 'Scorpion' will be published soon as well.
