John P. Murphy

John P. Murphy graduated college with a degree in education and nothing of value to teach anyone.

He waited tables from hippy coffee shops and wine bars in Boston, to fine dining in NYC.

He began his 12 year international teaching career in Cairo, Egypt. After learning three languages he began his career as an Urban Educator in Philadelphia.

When his wife kidnapped his three young children and moved to Costa Rica, he drove them all to the airport.

He lives in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, with Artist Iris Burchi. He loves, writes, reads, surfs, runs, swims, paints and chases butterflies.
