T. Marie Harris is an educator, author, and founder of Sweetberry Books, a publishing firm dedicated to ensuring every Black child sees themself as a main character.

Her passion for educating and inspiring children, particularly children of color, is found throughout the pages of her books.

Through inspirational, fun, and engaging titles T. Marie Harris inspires even the youngest readers to believe in themselves, make good choices, and discover the joy, beauty and importance of being Black.

T. Marie Harris lives in Northern Virginia with her three small children.
