I'm not an author by trade, but now that I've published my second book ("The Empty Nest Companion") with my good friend, fellow IPEC coach and co-author, Briget Bishop...I believe that constitutes being an author! The past year of writing/researching/editing our Empty Nest book has been amazing, and I can honestly say that it has helped me navigate the multitude of emotions in being an empty nester mom.

I started my career in advertising in 1986 where I was a producer for TV and Radio commercials. This career was amazing, as it provided creativity, travel and meeting many interesting people. As life unfolded, I needed to change course and reinvent myself due to the demands of motherhood, which involved finding a career that did not require travel. I ventured into recruiting, which in turn led me to where I am today as a Career Coach and Human Resource/Staffing Manager; a career I totally love and enjoy.

My first book, published in 2015, was my dad's memoir, "Tibi's Journey from Nyirbator to America", did not start with my wanting to write a book; instead it started by wanting to put together all of my dad's stories/memoirs into one document for our family. With the addition of pictures it slowly took on a life of itself, and it was at this point that I decided to create the "document" into a book format; so that I could share my dad's story with the world....just as he wanted. Working on my dad's memoir was a labor of love, as well as a healing process in dealing with his passing. I am honored to share his story with you.
