Max Cooper

Max Cooper advocates survival & preparedness skills that are realistic, practical and efficient. When it comes to survival, you are either prepared or you are not. There is no middle ground. Mr. Cooper is experienced in the outdoors in both desert and mountain environments. He has researched, designed and created numerous outdoor gear systems to prepare for different types of emergency situations to include natural disasters, terrorism, civil unrest, and others. He is also a licensed amateur radio operator, avid hiker, backpacker, and camper.

Max Cooper has held many positions within the criminal justice system and has extensive experience in officer safety and survival. Throughout his career he was an officer survival instructor and was integral in the development and implementation of numerous officer safety training curriculum. He served as a Certified Firearms Instructor and Lead Defensive Tactics instructor.

He has trained with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), numerous Police and Sheriff's Departments, SureFire Institute, and many other government and private agencies on topics to include: officer survival, active shooter intervention, force-on-force training, shoot house instructor, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, building searches, school violence, workplace violence, flashbang operator, tactical scouting, and others. He has also received training on: Faculty Skills Development, Advanced Faculty Skills Development, and Curriculum & Lesson Plan Development.
