Jasona Brown

Jasona grew up on the Washington coast (think rain, coffee, and wool socks with Birkenstocks) and spent her summers on a fishing boat in Alaska (think more rain, fish slime, and leaping humpback whales). In "Stone by Stone" she tells the story of the healing of her relationship with God. Childhood trauma—a life-threatening head injury, eight years of constant helmet-wearing, and the murders of her aunt and young cousin—caused Jasona to build a wall between God’s heart and hers. Decades later, God helped her tear it down, and she came alive to the love in his heart. She writes from a longing to invite readers to experience and rely upon God's love. Jasona holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Studies from Regent College. She lives in Colorado with her husband and three children.
