I was born in England and lived in Brazil for 40 years. In 1990 I was part of Matrix Fanzine and the next year we won two important comicbook prizes in Brazil: HQMix and 1st Bienal Internacional de Quadrinhos. In 1995 I moved back to England for a couple of years, when I drew Power Ranger comicbooks, had classes with David Lloyd at the Cartoon Art Trust and worked for a year with John Higgins.

In 2004 I drew a Starship Troopers graphic novel, later re-released as a mini-series. Since then, for the British and North-American market I’ve done graphic novels of Robin Hood, King Arthur, Joan of Arc and Grace O'Mally with Tony Lee and The Coldest City with Antony Jonhston, adapted to film as Atomic Blonde, and a Judge Dredd story for 2000AD.

In the Brazilian market I’ve worked on illustrations for magazines and newspapers, edited anthologies such as Front and Kaos, and drawn graphic novels adaptations such as Hamlet and The Magic Flute. I also teached comic narrative, anatomy and perspective at Quanta Academia de Artes and Axis School of Visual Arts, and have two online courses on the Domestika platform.

I moved back to the UK in 2025 and am working on my creator-owned comics and comic-related projects, the most recent being 10 Lost Days, Memories and Comic Art Superheroes.
