Anna Pulley is the author of the Love Where You Work series, an erotica collection, and The Lesbian Sex Haiku Book (with Cats!)—praised by Tegan and Sara as “an adorable and hilarious way to start the day,” Cheryl Strayed as a “must-read,” and Bound actress Jennifer Tilly as “thoroughly charming.”
She writes a weekly sex and dating advice column for The Chicago Tribune and has been published in New York magazine, The Washington Post, Mother Jones, Vice, Salon, Buzzfeed, and many other internet rabbit holes that no longer exist. An issue of San Francisco magazine she contributed to won a National Magazine Award, which she brings up only in bios.
Her work has been excerpted in Esther Perel’s book The State of Affairs, and she’s been a guest on Savage Love, Dear Prudence, and 99% Invisible. She was also named a Top LGBTQ Writer on Medium and a “Woman to Watch” by KQED (the PBS/NPR affiliate for the San Francisco Bay Area). She remains extremely normal about being watched.
When she's not writing, you'll find her planning a ridiculous adventure, reading feelings poetry, or trapped under a cat, probably.
