Dr. TaMara is definitely NOT your "typical doctor!” She is an unapologetically Spiritual Bewitching Magickal Wild Chick that embodies the Spirit of a Goddess and the Soul of several Lifetimes! She’s an eccentric and eclectic medicine woman, certified sacred Ayurvedic Practitioner, WOMB Healer, Mental Health and Clinical sex Therapist, with a hodgepodge of over 30 years of experience helping women achieve optimal wellness and wholeness by healing ancestral trauma within the mind, body, spirit and soul.

At the age of 13, she told her mother that she wanted to be a sex therapist! She wanted to know just how "stigmatizing," "shameful," "nasty," “dirty,” field of sexuality was. What she learned was anything and everything but that! Her passion is deeply rooted in helping folk dig deep into the shadows of their sexuality and their soul to unpack trauma; the layers of “- ish" and unhealthy messages that they’ve received, and to restore the disconnect with body (physical), spirit (Self) and soul (Scared Divine) and the Universe. Dr. TaMara’s work centers on helping women facilitate, navigate and experience the natural Divine Movement of the body’s innate ability to heal itself. She does this by utilizing ancestral wisdom and natural and holistic indigenous healing tools and modalities that spiral deep into treating the root cause of the problem, within multiple dimensions, rather than just the present discomfort and presenting symptoms. Dr. TaMara is very unapologetic about empowering women to take charge of their lives by teaching natural healing tools and guiding them towards a more pain free, trauma free, healthier, empowered, balance, joyful, peaceful and abundant lifestyle.

Now for the academics, Dr. TaMara has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Sexuality, Doctor of Human Sexuality (DHS), Master of Social Work degree with a clinical focus, Master of Science degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Life Education. She holds several sexuality related certificates including: sex therapy, clinical sexology, Goddess Steam Womb Healing, Women's Healing Arts Teacher, Fertility Stimulation Massage Specialist, just to name a few.
