LaVone Hicks

LaVone Hicks is not your typical writer. In fact, she has taught music in North Carolina for nearly thirty-five years. She also has been a licensed insurance agent for the last twenty years which fueled her interest in finances. Her own life experiences and knowing that many of her peers were experts in their relevant areas but ignorant in the basics of money management prompted her to write "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?-Life Lessons Learned".

In addition, she has told her students a true story of the scariest thing that happened to her when she was a child. At their request, she has written a second book, "The Thing That Lived Upstairs." Only God knows what's next for this unconventional writer.
