Alan Rothman

Alan Rothman has spent his entire adult life as a CPA representing many high profile

athletes with the goal of protecting their wealth and financial future.

A simple gift from his four children, Jeffrey, Michael, Todd and Jodi was the impetus

for his new hobby. The metal detector was the gift that created a form of addiction for

the search of treasures lost and friendships found.

Soon he became known as "The Metal Detective" by his grandchildren who appear

on the cover of his book .

A unique bond in writing this book took place when his son, Jeffrey agreed to become

his editor.

Now Alan is protecting his wealth and financial future in his treasure chest filled

It all began on Cape Cod when Liam's glasses were discovered and Alan felt compelled

to write about his many experiences while detecting.
