Emily Fortney

Emily Fortney is a fantasy, young adult author who writes by her Christian convictions. Her debut book, THE FAINTLY BEATING HEART, is the prequel to her Camilla Crim Series which follows the thrilling adventures of 17-year-old heroine, Camilla Crim.

Emily has come a long way from building forts in the woods behind her childhood home. Some of Emily’s favorite past times include walks in the woods and cooking up a mess in the kitchen. Born and raised in central Pennsylvania (or PA as any true Pennsylvanian would say), Emily currently resides in Memphis, TN with her husband and shelter cat.
