After my first book which was non-fiction, Brokerage Fraud, which was about the financial markets and Wall Street, I wanted to write a factual based fiction. That is why I call my new book a historical novel or political thriller. My background in criminal justice in combination with living most of my life in the southwest motivated me to write a book about the US - Mexico border and the immigration problems plaguing America. And write these issues into a very enjoyable read. My favorite book is Atlas Shrugged, which I think my new book is somewhat modeled after.
