Peter Clark

Peter Clark Born in the UK in an area called the black country. So called because of the black smoke billowing from the chimneys of the many heavy engineering companies that drove the Britain of the 50s and 60s wealth making activities. Becoming an engineer himself with responsibility for commissioning new plant, in many corners of the world gave him the opportunities to travel over an engineering career spanning 40 years. Turning to writing after retiring early from engineering allowed some of his experiences to be used in several books in which he used a pseudonym.

Years spent in hotel rooms provides many hours of time to pass. Bars may be tempting but not 7 days a week for weeks on end. Foreign TV can be less than interesting, especially when the language is not understood. Walking is not an over pleasant experience in Moscow in December at minus 20 degrees Celsius and 50 degrees Celsius in the middle east is about as pleasant. Indoor pursuits are more appealing.

Hours spent doodling turned into designs that grew in all directions resulting in quite strange, often bizarre designs, which has come in useful when designing images for coloring books. Coloring books are a natural progression from doodles for this author, who also makes videos lessons for teachers who wish to put courses on line for various subjects.

An active walker and cyclist provides many opportunities to seek unusual locations that provide inspiration for future designs.
