When I first wrote A Mouse Named Whiskas, my wife at the time had just came home from working with a group of kids that she was taking care of due to her job function.

She came to me and began telling me that, she had read a few children books and wasn't impressed by them. And she asked me if I could write her a children book.

Well with me not being a writer or anything like that, I just said okay. And about 20 minutes later, A Mouse Named Whiskas was created.
