Traveling in and researching about Baja California's history has been part of my life since my first trip south of the U.S. border, in 1965.

I began collecting books about Baja California when I was 9, and my library now contains hundreds of books and magazines written about Baja California.

I published my first set of road logs and maps of Baja California in 1973, when I was 15 and have continued to the present time. My most recent published work is the 2012 history guide 'The Old Missions of Baja & Alta California, 1697-1834' with co-author Max Kurillo.
